I am not a gambler, but how random are the roulette outcomes on a regular basis? What if you have a favorite bet, and it pays off? If you have to make one more bet, which one is most likely? Is the probability of it happening every time you place the bet a fixed probability? Or could it be influenced by something like your skill level, or the chance of getting lucky with a particular combination of cards, or even even the type of wheel you are currently racing?
I also cannot imagine that a random roulette wheel is guaranteed to flip a certain way every time. There are so many variables, that even with the most skilled random number generator out there this will not necessarily be the case!
What about the odds of getting one card better than another every time? What if I bet on a 3 card wheel but get a 5 card better deal than I normally would? What if there are different combinations of both of those and the 5 card worse deal comes, even when no one else is betting?
What if I bet on a 3 card wheel and get a five card worse deal than I typically would? What if I bet on a 4 card wheel and get a 7 card better deal than my usual bet of 3? How many other combinations are there? How many of them are “better”? How many can be considered to be “worse” than your usual bet?
If you got lucky and got a 6+ card better deal at some point, that makes it a 6 to 1 chance of me getting that deal again? That’s not even counting the odds of a 6 with the 7 or the 6+ or whatever it would be.
So what really makes random roulette “random” in your opinion? Well, if you’re betting the least chance of getting a better deal than you betting before, you should be doing better. And if you got lucky a few points in your bet, you’ll know you’re “more likely” to get lucky again! I haven’t seen any studies like these yet, but if such a research gets done, this article is likely to become worthless. I’ll have to try some other casinos or roulette wheels and see how they rate.
How about other types of casino games? I know some people like to play Slots, where you don’t know what card will be brought to the pot. But if Slots is “random” (i.e. it’s a roulette wheel)
