To be honest with you, most people are very vague on how to do it. If you ask me this, my answer is yes. I used to do it way back when. I’ve also created a new website and blog to document my process. My approach is to create unique portfolio of work and then I post them on my website and blog. I’ll often go there to answer questions and answers to general photography questions.
But I think it’s time something changes. I’ve been wanting a website for so long… But my photography business isn’t growing. It used to be growing. This is the first time in a year I’ve been on top in terms of sales because of my blog post. I do all of my own design work but that does not include making the site. I have the time for that but my creative needs always take priority. This is why I made a personal website. There’s also a blog that I’ll be putting together to help me put our online presence to a better use.
What’s your advice for those creating portfolio on the internet? Be more specific. I would recommend something like PortfolioHero that has templates, templates, templates and templates.
I think I’ve posted enough about photography on this blog without having to write for a client. I have many clients from local media to national news.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is working on a plan to help states make a healthier environment even after natural disasters or climate disasters hit, such as hurricanes or tornadoes. NOAA will present results of a multi-year study Tuesday at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union.
“The current state of the art of disaster response and recovery is inadequate to protect people against impacts of major natural disasters,” said Michael Halpern, assistant director for climate change adaptation and response at NOAA. The agency is hoping these standards, which could be set at the national level and statewide, will increase state responses to natural disasters, such as tornadoes, hurricanes and floods, and provide a roadmap for the next decade. “These standards will help communities make the right decisions when things happen and also make sure the best data is collected to make sure we do have a safe and healthy future.”
