Plot
“The Man in the Mirror” is about Beau thinking of himself as a mirror for everyone in Washington D.C. He sees himself as a great leader who is ready to rise, but he doesn’t want to, instead he wants to make the choices he makes himself rather than rely on others.
Summary
The episode begins with Beau and Kevin (who has become a member of the D.C. Resistance) having dinner with friends outside of their restaurant. At dinner Kevin tells Beau “Look what I got! The president of the United States!” and Beau tells him he is kidding. Later that night Kevin gets a call from Paul and he tells him “I told Kevin to call you! I think he’s found my husband!”.
At the dinner party, Kevin introduces Beau to Ben (as his second cousin). Beau listens in silence as Kevin tells him how he knew Beau wasn’t lying about his son being dead. Beau, however, doesn’t understand it as he is not a father. Kevin tells him that everything is still normal; no one has said they’re afraid of Ben or they’re afraid of Beau.
Later that night Kevin invites Beau to have dinner with him and Paul. He and Beau are still in the same house and Kevin tells him how Beau
