“Dirty Dancing”: The first half of this film is full of action. We watch the men play a love-hate game, which results in the women having to play the woman. Eventually this becomes so tiresome that we all quit, save for one man. A man who is so good-natured he doesn’t even notice the women playing. He doesn’t get much screen time, but it’s the most touching scene of the film. The second half is about what happens when it is revealed that someone is cheating on the woman with the man who cheated on the woman with the man. It’s a very good story (not so much for what is said about it), and I recommend everyone see the second half. It’s much more interesting to watch these men trying to take care of each other. This is a more romantic film than it is a “bad guy flick.” It’s about the relationship rather than a “bad guy gets away with murder.” For people with the time it’s pretty well-done with no nudity or sex. This is a film for the family. The second half is much less interesting. Most of the action is just an excuse to sit back, drink, and watch the men make progress. There are two scenes that are pretty great in the second half, but I can’t remember if that is because they had a smaller budget, or because they didn’t like the second half. (I don’t even remember.) If you watch a lot of these movies don’t take a chance. I can’t imagine what the second half would have been like. There are a lot of sex scenes in this movie. It has a “wimp is more important” type of thing going on which is hilarious. The women never have sex with the man who cheated on her. They don’t want anything to do with him. He has a great reason.
