I think it can be good. In the U.K., when people come into the shelter complaining about dogs and cats, the dogs are euthanized. The cats are spayed or neutered. Those are the only choices that can be made.

That’s a bad example. That’s not doing a very good job. Because in the animal-rights movement you also have the idea that it’s not the problem, it’s the solution. That they have to breed. If you can find the best solution to every problem, you just never learn about that other problem. That is a very weak reason to vote for that person.
