Stephie, I really think you put a lot of love and care into your hair, I mean it really shines in there on the pictures – I have seen people with this, who are super talented but at the root of it, there is so much focus and the hair just comes out really beautiful, it’s a very personal thing when you see someone with a very gorgeous, super long hair, but I would always worry if if my parents weren’t so protective of me, if my hair was all grown up and they couldn’t reach into some pockets, like, they were so proud and so protective, and if they were like ‘oh look you look so lovely with that hair,’ I think it would feel even more uncomfortable if they were to see me without it! They would be super disappointed in themselves and really not want to see me with that hair! I was like ‘OK, I will use it and work with it. I will do it’ and from that moment, I decided to do it, so my parents were like ‘yes!’
So, you got this, do you know what it is?
Oh yeah, it’s called ‘frizzy hair’. They are actually called frizzy frizz, and in the world of fashion and in hair care, they are the most common one out there and so when I first got it, I kind of thought it was just random. I would have looked like a really weirdo with this, but it really has developed and it just has that lovely fluffy texture, you know – but it is definitely from when I was like 13 or 14, so it has really matured and grown a lot since then! It’s really long, like my hair is so long this time too, and I have just done it every couple of months, and it has to be done a lot every year! Sometimes I will have about 10, you know, when I just take it all out at a time – so that’s the hardest part, it’s really hard for me to even sort of do my hair – but it is definitely my thing and it’s always my go-to because I love my hair!
Have you tried doing it at home?
Well, when I first started out doing it at home, which now is usually just the weekends before I do it in my studio, and then just once a weekend when I have time during the day, and I think I do it every weekend or the week before, it kind of just
