The answer is “Yes!”
However, it all comes down to one thing: you’re not going to make money selling photos. The idea of a photographer selling photos on ebay makes me want to explode.
The beauty of photography is that it’s art.
As art, any business is going to be judged by the value created by their products.
A photo is worth less as your business, but if you manage to capture great images, the people viewing your photo will appreciate it more and more.
It is often said that in the US we have four major parties — Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Green Party. There is actually only one: One party, the Democratic Party. In the US, the two parties are separated by geography, and geography is a great thing for us: a geographic divide creates a political divide as well.
For example, it is often said that the Democratic Party has to be more left-wing than the Republicans in order to gain support with independents and the middle-voting-age population to get elected to office. In fact, the more right-leaning the Democratic Party is, the greater the percentage of the U.S. population under 65 that is either Independent or leaning to the Right. This has never been as true in the US.
The problem that many people have with the Democrats is not just that they are more likely to be controlled by the rich in Washington, DC vs. Republicans in the states. It is also that the Democrats are more likely to be controlled by a Democratic Administration. This is what has caused the collapse of the Democratic Party. We have no way to get any new Members of Congress elected unless there is a Democrat in the White House, and the more Democratic the administration, the more likely the Republicans will remain in power.
A party can grow, but when you get to have a Democratic President in the White House, even a very liberal one, you can’t grow. That has always been the case in American politics.
When you look at the historical record of the past 100+ years in America, you see the Democrats have always been controlled more by the rich in Washington, DC, while the Republicans have always been controlled more by the rich in the states to prevent their government from being controlled by the common good.
There is no way for the Democrats to grow, or even be competitive when they are controlled by the rich. So the Democrats must stay far, far to the Left
