“No, it’s not a trade,” he continued. “You’re taking things on and not caring about making them. In a nutshell, it’s about doing things in a very basic way.”

The work is “not done in a very expensive way,” though, he said. “You’re not getting more than this amount, in today’s dollars, per piece of wood that you have. And in the same way, you’re not getting more. That’s the real deal here.”

As for what makes an expensive work “expensive,” he replied: “It is not the quality of the work that’s expensive. I’m not trying to sell you a house and have you want to have $150,000 worth of furniture and be a little angry.”

Mr. Kocher did mention, though, that he doesn’t take any shortcuts, and noted that he uses “precision cutting machines and precision wood chisels” in his work.

If you can’t wait until July to pick up a copy of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you’re in for a treat when Disney launches a brand new website today that contains new information about the movie. The new site contains more photos and video of characters, including a shot or two of Kylo Ren from the movie trailer that you can watch all the way through below.

While I haven’t seen the movie yet, from what I can tell from the pictures, Kylo Ren is the same as the character in the movie. The only difference is that they’ve added some sort of head piece for one of the characters (that’s what that blue box is).
